How this site started and grew

I have investigated many fields over the years in my search for Truth and Happiness. I spent the first half of my life as a committed Roman Catholic. Then I began to realize that all the Church's rules and regulations were man-made and were implemented more than 1,000 years after Jesus; so i began to seriously question them. This led me into several fields including Conversations with God. About the same time (1980's), I started researching wealth, happiness and relationships. In recent years I spent a lot of time and money to qualify as a life Results Coach using modern NLP techniques. I started a business in this field, both coaching individuals and doing public motivational speaking. My passion for wanting to help people achieve greater happiness is still very much alive. My sincere objective was to help my clients and at the same time seek my own fulfilment.

Then, almost by accident, I came across some new teachings by a man called Alan John Miller, "AJ", (AJ Miller). Well, they were new to me although they were a collection of teachings given by other teachers previously. The most interesting teachings he uses were given in channeled messages 100 years ago to James Padgett. But AJ's exposition was the most explicit spiritual information I had ever come across, given in great detail and with tremendous power.

Initially I rejected the information because of my distaste for anything religious. But eventually I came to accept the teachings and I subsequently saw many hours of his DVD's and met him in person many times.

I am embarrassed to say that I fell under the spell of AJ's charisma. I believed his fake information. He is a cult leader. However, I am pleased to say that I soon realized my error as two of his main precepts (reincarnation and accessing repressed emotions) were specifically condemned in the Padgett teachings on which AJ based his teachings.

AJ's message was simply a pathway to finding God and forming a relationship with Him - it is the "Divine Love" path as presented by Padgett. But once I read Padgett myself I realized how much of a distortion AJ's teachings were.

Update 2022.

"AJ" Miller (a resident of Queensland) claimed that he had previously "passed over" and had now returned (reincarnated) with increasingly full memories of his previous life as well as his life in the Spirit World. He claims that 13 others have also reincarnated.

However, I now believe that he and his followers are a cult; but whether AJ does this deliberately or through delusional beliefs I cannot say.

He is a very convincing orator and much of what he said seemed plausible. So, for a time, I chose to believe him, particularly as much of what he teaches is based on Padgett.

However, once I started reading the Padgett messages I quickly I realized that it was not necessary to believe in or follow AJ. The Padgett messages answer most questions we might have about most spiritual topics. I am not asking that you believe them; but if you are a seeker of truth, love and happiness, then you owe it to yourself to examine them very closely. They could be the most important ideas that you have ever come across.

Some Padgett messages were from Jesus and many were from other famous people in history including many of the people from the bible. The consistent message from all of them was that Jesus was never God, and never claimed to be God. These channeled messages are available on line for free (see new-birth) or can be purchased in book form. These messages show that much of what is in the bible is false and also gives a very erroneous picture of God, Jesus, redemption, and salvation. As well, the bible grossly distorts the actual message that Jesus came to preach and did teach.

So, at this stage I base my beliefs primarily on the messages Padgett received. The best website that I have come across for information about Padgett is here. It is the work of a gentle, generous man in NSW Australia. He has done immense research into the whole story of Padgett and many related topics and gives access to many other more recent channelings.
